POWER LINE FILTER PANELS

Genisco EMI/RFI power line filter panels are used in both government and commercial installations to prevent unwanted signals and interference on power lines. Filter panels provide line isolation by using individual phase filters within the panel enclosure.

Enclosures are modified NEMA-type fabricated panels (minimum 14 gauge cold rolled steel), finished in our standard gray colored paint. They include a RF tight inner area, secured with a RF gasket for 100 dB shielding effectiveness (minimum 14 kHz to 18 GHz). The front cover allows easy access to filters and terminal standoffs. Pre-wired standoff, lugs and lifting ears included.

Our panels are built to house our general performance and high attenuation filters that range from 100 dB @ 100 kHz or 100 dB @ 14 kHz. UL Recognized filters are used in panels up to 400 amps. Many high attenuation filter panels also include UL Recognized filters as well.

SPECIFICATIONS AND OPTIONS

Our panel and filter products meet various military specifications and come in a variety of options; however, not all options are available on all models.

NFPA 70/2011 National Electrical Code Standards

  • MIL-PRF-15733

Military Test Methods

  • MIL-STD-202 Component Parts
  • MIL-STD-220 Insertion Loss
  • MIL-STD-285 Shielding Effectiveness

Available Options for Panels

  • Legs
  • RF Secure Penetration Accessories
  • Surge Suppression

POWER LINE FILTERS

Genisco power line filters consist of low-pass filter circuits and passive components that includes inductors, capacitors, resistors and optional transient suppression devices.

Each Genisco filter is manufactured and tested per applicable portions of MIL-PRF-15733.

Filter enclosures are 18-gauge CRS, with a plated or painted finish, and sealed with welded and soldered seams for shielding effectiveness. Discharge resistors are also incorporated to eliminate potential shock hazards.

Our general performance and high attenuation filters range from 100 dB @ 100 kHz or 100 dB @ 14 kHz. Our general, standard filters are specified to 100 dB and feature a reduced enclosure size for easier installation in constrained areas.

SPECIFICATIONS AND OPTIONS

Our filters meet high-compliance standards and are rigorously tested to ensure optimal performance.

Filter Highlights

  • All circuits provided in single enclosure
  • Factory pre-wired clean output lead provided through the pipe penetration*

Enclosure Highlights

  • Threaded steel pipe penetration available on some models
  • Double knock-outs provided on filter case input
  • Front cover access to input terminals
  • Mounting tab provided for easy wall mount options

Available Options for Filters

  • EMP and Surge Suppression
  • RF Secure Penetration Accessories

*Applicable for selected series only with pipe penetration available with the 679x Series.
